Occupying a 17th-century building, Zizzi Winchester has the original period features at the heart of Winchester. Boasting an open kitchen and a birch tree centrepiece, Zizzi Italian restaurant serves a selection of classic Italian dishes.
The Zizzi menu showcases a passion for simple, delicious Italian food, served with an inventive twist. Hand-stretched, thin and crispy rustica pizzas are loaded with inspiring toppings, while salads and pasta dishes feature fresh, seasonal ingredients. Complementing the menu’s rich flavours, the Zizzi wine list brings together a selective stock of international bottles, and inventive cocktails are also on offer.
Specially designed for younger diners, the bambini menu at Zizzi restaurant is filled with tempting Italian dishes. For dessert, opt for a trusty Italian classic like super-smooth gelato or tiramisu, or an inventive seasonal special.

Great friendly staff. I come here more than any other restaurant in Winchester. Food always good I don’t think over the years I’ve ever had a complaint. Great atmosphere.

Myself and a group of 5 other ladies came to Winchester for a good catch up and shopping. I booked Zizzi’s which was greatly appreciated after the cold damp morning. The staff were very friendly and the decor was very welcoming. We were also extremely surprised how large the restaurant was.

Busy and larger than expected restaurant. Sat near the open kitchen area. Enjoyed the food. Only disappointment was waited 45 minutes for the starter which I think is excessive. Otherwise rest of meal was served without undue delay.

Having been going regularly to Zizzi in Winchester since if first opened we were shocked and disappointed in its decline when we visited last week. The atmosphere and staff seemed different. A prawn and zuccini starter had a single prawn - the calzone was more like a pasty and the pasta arrived barely warm. To be fair we were offered a free desert but would have preferred the meal to be of the high standard we had come to expect. To add further to our discontent the coffee didn't event taste of coffee. Will will not be going back for a while.
