We booked a table at Zizzi for 20:30 New Years Eve. When we arrived we were seated at a table by the entrance. The table had not been laid, we chose the set meal option. There was only one menu on the table, we were not offered another menu so had to share. We were then informed that they had run out of the chicken dish. We ordered a glass of proscecco which came in 2 completely different size flutes. The waitress obviously didn't want to be there, she was a little bit dower a little bit rude and a little bit miserable. Then came the food! We ordered 2 sharer plates to start, the 2 slices of pizza were over cooked & was like eating card. The rest was tasteless. My husband ordered the Calcone & I had the King prawn linguine. The Calcone was quite good but my linguine had 5 prawns and no taste. There was supposed to be chilli white wine & lobster sauce but all I could taste was tinned tomatoes. All in all the atmosphere, the service and the food was dire.

Nice place, slow service and wrong food choice however, wouldn't recommend the seafood risotto. Good value but I'd play safe and get a pizza or something.

The staff were extremely friendly and efficient. The food however was disappointing. I had the Rissoto Pesce and although it did say there were chilli's in it there were far to many which overpowered the taste. The restaurant is clean but very noisy and quite cold the decoration is minimal and could be prettier and Italian overall it was ok for a chain restaurant what you see is what you get.

the new veg and seafood frita starter was absolutely delicious. loved the combo, particularly liked the courgette, red pepper, artichoke...yum Glad we weren't eating late, as found the lighting was a little gloomy, once it got dark, but it's a nice restaurant and attentive staff. The chef was lovely, seeing to us when the waitress wasn't there.

Nice food but the decor is unacceptable, with food and drink stains on the painted walls and chairs.

This restaurant has an overall feel of 'welcome'. The service, food and atmosphere was great.

Turns out the voucher I'd booked online had to be shown before we sat down. Neither waiter asked to see the code so I did not realise. Then when I did show the code he said he couldn't use it. The bill cost nearly £15.00 more than I expected. Was not happy. The food was mediocre. The service was good until we found out about the voucher.
