Our online reservation was recorded, although our special comments made online were not mentioned when we arrived and our waitress asked if we needed to be finished by a certain time, which we did. Our meals then arrived quickly and our waitress was incredibly attentive and prompt. It was quite noisy in there and quite tightly packed, although this didn't impact on our enjoyment on this occasion. I would definitely dine here again and recommend it to others.

Pre-theatre service is a bit slow because it is so busy. They tried to give us our main course before we had completed our starter which was a pain. Waiter forgot our water and was slow with our wine but was friendly and helpful (suggesting a nice wine). My pasta was a little more al dente than I would have liked, but it was tasty.

Meal was no different from other Zizzis. Took a long time to take order,,,,shift change, who does which table....45 mins before we got food after entering the restaurant. Liverpool much better!

very busy, not enough staff.

Booked for 17.30 for 5 but turned up at 17.10 with 7 - no problem though. Had a 50% discount voucher which made the meal exceptional value, otherwise would normally be average, drinks expensive. Great pizzas and pasta dishes. Risotto not so good. First time we went (on New Year's Day) service was slow (appeared very understaffed) but food was good then also.

A very peasant pre-theatre meal

6pm pre-theatre dinner - specified as such when we booked via Book a Table. Despite this, everything was slow. My duck (re-heated not freshly cooked) was only warm. My partner's vegetable side dish was cold, despite the fact that the dish it came in had seen either a microwave or oven, as it was hot. Clearly the kitchen and service cannot cope. We got out 1 1/2 hours later only just in time to make the theatre which was directly opposite the 'restaurant'. A stressful and unhappy dining experience.

Four of us dined together after a matinee, so it was conveniently positioned. Luckily, I had booked, as it soon became full, with a long queue. Despite the number of diners, the service was great and I made sure that the waitress got the tip. It was the icing on the cake after our theatre experience as far as I was concerned. Even the white wine was nicely chilled.
