My second visit; excellent service and food. I would appreciate desserts that suit lactose intolerant diners.

Time allowed to choose our food. Good time span between courses. Very friendly staff. No pressure to have a desert or coffees. Zizzi offers tremendous consistency in good quality and value.

The restaurant was very quiet when we arrived as it was weekday lunchtime, this was great however as it meant that you can enjoy listening to other guests speak without the need to shout. The drinks were amazing, I loved the strawberry spritzer as it looked so summery and fun, and definitely helped to take the spice away from my pasta.

Shabby, probably won’t return any time soon. Tried seating us next to the door, (freezing) and next to the busy aisle where the bar is when there was other free tables. Which we asked to move and became a chore for them. We waited 15 mins for drinks orders and another 10 for them to come, we ordered our mains... eventually as the staff members were stood chatting at the till next to the kitchen. Order completed and it came - the calamari was far too undercooked, chewy and the batter not cooked properly, the worse I’ve eaten in a while. The pizza was good but my partner had a piece of lamb shoulder that was ridiculously tiny. The waitress took forever to clear the table, didn’t ask if we wanted more drinks when all our glasses were nearly empty and was not attentive at all. Not impressed to say it’s my first time here! I wouldn’t mind but the meal overall was £135 so not cheap!! From someone coming from a silver service background with a few years waitressing, I was not happy!
