Food and service was up to the normal great standard.

Nice setup, but poor service. We waited 30 minutes for a waitress to bring over the card machine, after several times calling them over. We also waited 10 minutes before we got offered any drinks.

Lovely night out with family.
Waitress didn't write anything down and got the order for 5 correct!
Food and wine were excellent.
Decor is different but fun

We had garlic bread, margarita pizza, spaghetti Bolognese, lasagne and the chocolate melt dessert. All of the food was good but the dessert really stood out.

Requested table with space for a baby buggy. This request was ignored and table was unsuitable. Had to take initiative ourselves to move. Family friendly seems to mean colouring pencils and toys for older children. High chairs large and wooden and none with padding inserts forYounger babies. No interest shown by staff and indeed presence of buggy seemed to be an irritant. A range of high chairs would have sorted some of this out.
Service was very slow but overall food was just ok. Baby got restless with length of time in restaurant so this impacted on our experience. I ordered bruschetta starter but was disappointed and not what I expected. Bread was so hard underneath it was hard to cut up and there were small individual roasted tomatoes on top which meant it was impossible to hold. Tomatoes fell off and spurted juice on clothes " Green goddess salad" was mainly leaves with few beans. Salmon on top ok but barely worth £13 +.
Not a family friendly Italian restaurant and I would not return. Attitude of Pizza Express staff much superior whether out with baby or adults only.

The service was very slow, waited over half an hour for our drinks and even then they never brought them all and we had to remind them a couple of times. The food took quite long too considering the place was not that busy. We also felt that the £26 service charge included in our bill was a bit much especially since we did not get very good service. No-one asked us how anything was or if we required anything else. I did enjoy my food, as did the others in my party, but everyone agreed that the Service was very poor indeed and not worth £26 mandatory charge!

Thought the service was a bit slow when we had finished our main meal. We had to ask one of the waiters for the dessert menu while our meal was still on the table. Apart from that friendly, welcoming staff. Meal was delicious. Would come back again.
