I am normally a fan of Zizzi Silverburn but I felt let down on this occasion. We have eaten here many time pre Covid but this was the first since opening. We are a party of 5, 2 adults and 3 children. My husband's starter choice was not available as it was sold out, which he quickly changed. We were seated at 16.30 and received our starters at 17.05. We requested balsamic vinegar and salt and if it was up to our table waiter we would still be waiting, we requested again with another server. 1730 and our starter plates and still not be cleared, 1 hour after seating and 25 minutes after receiving starters. We were advised our cutlery and drink would be left at the corner of the table due to covid rules, then see our server place cutlery out at a neighbouring table. My son had football training at 18.00. We gave ourselves 1.5 hours to dine and children had no starters and our adult starters were Bruschetta. At 17.38 we spoke with a server (not ours) and requested our main meals. I had Ravioli di Capra and the middle of the dish was warm but not the outer, unfortunately I now had no time to return this dish. I felt we had to rush down our main as we now had no time. This was our family meal for the children going back to school and unfortunately I would not say it was a nice memory.

Pasta didn’t have much sauce. Small portion size. Quite expensive for what it was. Poor selection of beer. Wouldn’t rush back.

Starter was really nice. Service was fantastic. Main course was really nice but the portion was really small. For a full price main course there was little chicken and pasta.

It was average. I had ravioli and it was Verdi. Meal not as good as in Princes Square.

Had Seafood risotto, which was delicious but a very small portion. It only required more rice as there was enough seafood in it.

Service wasn't great we waited 40 mins for our starters that only consisted of garlic bread and calamari and when that came the kids menu garlic bread was just a thick piece of dough with no flavour to it, then when the main course came they obviously didn't know the difference between penne or spaghetti, then when asked for the bill I handed over a gift card it took about 15 mins for them to try and add this to my bill then when I was giving the bill i had to wait another 10 mins to pay for it . Only positive thing about it was the 2 adult main courses where nice
