Excellent service and food. The sharing platter starter is perfect. We opted to share a pizza as they are large. Would highly recommend

The building housing Zizzi Central St Giles was designed by famous Italian architect Renzo Piano, and features a stunning ceramic tree inside. Diners can experience a true Italian piazza environment, with Tottenham Court Road’s theatres only a 3-minute walk away.
The Zizzi menu showcases a passion for simple, delicious Italian food, served with an inventive twist. Hand-stretched, thin and crispy rustica pizzas are loaded with inspiring toppings, while salads and pasta dishes feature fresh, seasonal ingredients. Complementing the menu’s rich flavours, the Zizzi wine list brings together a selective stock of international bottles, and inventive cocktails are also on offer.
Specially designed for younger diners, the bambini menu at Zizzi restaurant is filled with tempting Italian dishes. For dessert, opt for a trusty Italian classic like super-smooth gelato or tiramisu, or an inventive seasonal special.
Zizzi at Central St Giles in London offers contemporary Italian cuisine and weekly live music. A vibrant atmosphere couples a faithfully recreated Italian setting.

Unfortunately, overall we did not have a good dining experience here. We have been here a few times before and it has always been good. However, this time, one of the starters (Mushroom Brindisi) had to be returned twice because it turned up cold twice! After the second attempt we said to leave it and just have the main course. I had the Butterfly King Prawn starter, which was just luke warm and the 2 bread rolls were sitting in the paprika sauce. Not great. Three members of the party ordered the Spiedini Pescatore. Unfortunately we watched them sitting on the counter for 4.5 minutes, whilst the chef handled the food with his hands, brushed past the food with his t-shirt and in the meantime the food was getting colder and colder. No hot counter or heat lamps. We watched the lemon sauce being poured from the scissor snipped plastic pouch. So off putting to watch this. Also, one of the three fish kebabs had less fish on it than the other 2. We commented on this, but the waiter didn't seem to care and unfortunately this was served to the person who had had to send back their starter twice. No waiter came back to check if we were happy with everything. The only positive is that the waiter at the time of ordering the bill did take a bottle of prosecco off the bill total. Unfortunately, this experience has turned us 5 diners off of ever eating in a Zizzi restaurant ever again. Shame.

Great building, very attentive service, food fine but not outstanding - really tasty salad, but salmon overcooked. Loved the ice cream.

Food was good as was the service but the wait for the food to arrive was so long!
We both had good pasta dishes ( Cicken and Beef/Venison) and New Bruschetta, which were very good.
Waiter was good too.
