Great food & service - Ironically while I was dining, I received an e mail from Cote (the restaurant next door) inviting me to make a booking. Zizzi's was very busy and Cote Brasserie was empty, which tells a story.

My friend and I had an excellent birthday lunchtime catch up, before going to the cinema. Christina our waitress (Irish accent) was a complete joy!! Lots of friendly banter with her and she came back to our table to ask how everything was with our food etc. they right amount of times as not to become intrusive, well done Christina!! We didn’t feel rushed and Christina left us to enjoy our meal until we asked for the bill. The only downside and not Zizzis fault. We chose a table next to a family, grandmother and son with a two year old, no problem. Until the wife returned to the table with a three year old, obviously back from the bathroom. The toddle then proceeded to chase the baby round the table and kept knocking into my friends chair, which was very annoying to witness, let alone my friend having her chair bashed, every few second. In fact, we had to ask if we could be moved to another table, which Christina happily obliged. Zizzis is a family friendly restaurant and I applaud that, but some families need to make sure that their children can behave in a proper manner before taking them. If they can’t, then there’s always MacDonalds until they can learn otherwise!!
