Nice food expensive drinks , with warm wine which I had to ask for ice cubes to cool it which then diluted it with no apology at all just slammed glass of ice on table. Waitress did a check back and her exact words were ‘everything’s ok yes’ not waiting for a reply. There was no rapport or attempt to engage with us at all. A real shame as the setting on the river is stunning. overall A disappointing experience Due to the staff.

Very busy Saturday night and initially glad I had booked . Good atmosphere . Excellent friendly waiter attended us . Shared excellent garlic bred with caramelised onion and both of us had the pork belly that came like a big slab of meat and a sauce . Not very appetising looking , tasted ok but we couldn’t finish either of our servings . Would have been nicer if cooked longer and made crispier. My wife’s vegetables were cold and had to be reheated . Mine were warm but ok. Ordered cappuccinos that were warm and served in tumblers as cups had run out

The location is great, with really nice views of the Thames. And inside, the low ceiling and decor makes the restaurant very cosy. I asked for a window table at the time of booking, which was accommodated. At the time we arrived (4pm) there wasn't many staff, but we were greeted and led to our table in due time. The food was really good (we had 2 different pizzas, chicken calzonne, the big sharing starter, mozzarella garlic bread, lemon meringue Sunday, salted caramel Sunday and banana calzonne) and the lady who was serving us was very nice (a polish young lady, didn't ask her name). This was my 1st time eating in Zizzi and I'll be definitely going back.
