We love Zixzzi Bankside because it is close to the Globe with lovely views of the Thames, and the food is excellent.

It was the worst Zizzi we ever visited - non Vegan members of the party served Vegan food- pasta dishes were inedible and not eaten. They had run out of cream and mascarpone so puddings became a joke and forget to serve half the starters

We had a brilliant evening at Zizzi's, We had a table for eight + a young child in a highchair, from the minute we arrived the staff were helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The location was perfect along the side of the Thames, this entertained the four year old in our party. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was great, all the diners seemed to be enjoying themselves. The food was superb, an excellent choice of Italian dishes. A perfect dining experience.

One dish (a new new) did not seem as promised - the manager checked back with the chef and determined to take the issue up with the supplier (it tasted very nice, just offered prawns and didn't seem to have much/ any prawn in it). They way that the issue was handled was exemplary. Everything else was very good and exactly as promised. For a 'value' restaurant Zizzi really delivered, with food to a high quality against the price, and our table overlooking the river couldn't have been better.

Zizzi Bankside is in a prime location and is extremely busy. Because of this I always feel that service suffers: we were sitting for about 15 min before our drinks order was taken, then had another wait for our food order to be taken. But food and drinks were excellent when they did arrive. I would recommend Zizzi for a leisurely dinner but not a quick lunch!

The food was good but the place was really loud, I hardly could hear my friend who was sitting in front of me. I also had to ask 2 waiters to take our orders, when finally a 3rd one came around and took it.
