Award-winning Italian chef and restaurateur Aldo Zilli has launched an innovative vegetarian restaurant, Zilli Green, in Soho. Creatively combining Italian vegetarian cuisine with world fusion dishes, Zilli Green showcases tasty healthy food with a contemporary twist.

Head chef Enzo di Marino, one of the UK's most exciting up-and-coming vegetarian chefs, has created a wide selection of quality seasonal dishes with vegetables naturally sourced from trusted local producers. Signature pasta dishes include Pumpkin Ravioli with Butter, Sage and Nutmeg Sauce; Artichoke and Smoked Mozzarella Risotto with Toasted Sunflower Seeds; and Black Truffle Lasagne. The menu also offers Lentil Cake with Steamed Baby Vegetables, Fried Fennel and Beetroot Oil; Marinated Seared Tofu with Asian Salad and Miso Soup; Thai Curry with Quinoa and Blood Orange Chutney; and Purple Sprouting Broccoli and Oyster Mushroom Tempura, as well as a Daily Roast.

All the ingredients used in Zilli Green's dishes, including cheeses and desserts are completely vegetarian and in some instances, vegan.

    The menu was very limited even allowing for it being vegetarian. Ambience us more up Market cafe rather than up market restaurant. Staff were attentive , but restaurant seemed to be less full than others in the area at that time.

    I don't normally go to vegetarian restaurants but I found the food to be varied and quite tasty. We had Asian style dumplings, quesadillas and halloumi salad - a bit of everything. The tables were defintely too close together and the restaurant is pretty small. I didn't like the toilet, it was right next to the kitchen and was a bit shabby. Didn't see Aldo at Zilli Green unfortunately...
