Housed in an impressive building, Zara Indian & Seafood Restaurant serves a delectable selection of recipes from across India. In the dining room, warm strokes of red are offset by funky aquariums filled with tropical fish.

Showcasing skills honed in some of India’s finest establishments, Goan-born head chef Ash Jude Pinto brings rich tradition and culinary finesse to the Zara menu. As well as tandoori favourites, more adventurous recipes include jungle-style rabbit, or aromatic saffron duck in a mild sauce. Sizzling specialities are served straight from the grill, with offerings including sweet chilli and garlic lamb chops.

Classic Indian desserts at Zara High Wycombe include the delicate flavours of homemade rice pudding, or syrupy gulab jamun. A comprehensive selection is served from the bar, as well as the cooling flavours of mango lassi.

With an award-winning chef at the helm, Zara Restaurant evokes the true essence of Asia. High Wycombe Rail Station is 13 minutes’ drive away.

We was struggling to decided where to eat after out movie night, and the name zara cropped up most of us never tried zara before and so we decided to give them a go. We arrived at zara around 10pm unannounced, and there was 8 of us. The Restaurant initially had a pub like feel but as we went into the restaurant deeper this feeling started to change, the restaurant was split into little section with the bar area and then separate eating areas. The staff was great, they quickly rearrange some of the table so we can all sit together. The menu had dishes which never come across and deciding what to get was a difficult choice. Chicken Trio for starters and some rabbit main dish couldn't resist but give it a go. The food is probably the best I had so far if not the top 3. Overall the experience was great, we stayed well after the closing time and we did also buy some extra starters when the kitchen was closed. The staff and management went out the way for us. One of the lads had to leave his vehicle in their car park due to drinking one to many, and the management said its OK wasn't the first time. Thank you zara and promise we shall come back again.
