Gordon Ramsay’s York & Albany presents contemporary British cuisine in an urban setting in Camden. The open bar creates a perfect meeting place, and the sweeping open kitchen downstairs also gives diners direct views of the pass and the chefs in action.
The modern yet wholesome menu at York & Albany makes use of the finest seasonal ingredients. Bold, earthy flavours include port-braised ox cheek with roasted cauliflower, or Cornish cod with truffle gnocchi and spinach, while classic desserts include sticky treacle-steamed pudding with rice pudding foam.
A lengthy drinks list in the restaurant and bar features a plethora of world wines and a mix of fun cocktail categories. Younger diners can feast for free on a specially designed children’s menu – Tilly’s Treats - and the bar food menu offers more casual dining.
Featuring edgy interior design from Russell Sage, York & Albany in London sits 5 minutes’ walk from Camden Town Tube Station and a short walk from Regent’s Park.

A little dismal. Lighting was so dark I could barely read the menu and knowing very well I was there for dinner they kept putting us at low bar tables and overall we were moved three times. In fact one time thy even tried to sit us at a table for six! The staff looked so busy and it was hard to get atrention but apparently they said they weren't that busy! The dining room wasn't even full so not sure why I felt treated like a second class citizen. Food was ok. Lovely salmon starter but venison bolognese was very salty .. I still ate every bit to be fair!

Food was good. The service was a mixed experience. Started out with a very kind waiter, then another one came and he was really unpleasant. Rushed through every thing and had a very stressfull attitude. I asked for the first waiter to wait our table and the rest of the evening was good.

Loved the place. We had lunch at the bar and it was really pleasant. There was a mistake with one of our starters but the waiter gave it to us anyway free of charge. The main course took too long, my son had to go back to work and it was a bit of a rush because of the long wait. We notice there were two menus one for 21 and one for 24. The offer we had was 24 for 3 course plus a glass of prosseco. We had the prosseco but only 2 course each partly due to the lack of time. We were still charged 24 each, although we were not charged for the bread we ordered (which was extra) .

It was a great experience, we really enjoyed the meal and the place? Just a little note about hangings and seat who were worn and must be changed !

good atmosphere attentive staff and good decor with comfortable seating and plenty of space. Not like some restaurants which really pack you in like a herd of animals. I was disappointed with the menu choice for the price. Fairly cheap ingredients, and a very small amount albeit cooked well.
