No where to sit at all which was a shame, so we went to our booked dining table early, food was ok

I booked the restaurant for a special occasion - my wedding anniversary. Enjoyed the shared meze started with my husband. This was of a good quality and plenty of it. The chees balls were excellent and piping hot. Sadly the main course was not as good. I had the cauliflower steak which was pretty tasteless even with the sauce. Pudding was also disappointing. Thought I was getting raspberry sorbet but what arrived was some kind of pink ice cream with a bit of raspberry sauce on top.

Food was good and the service from the person at front of house showing us to our table and the waiter was friendly, attentive and professional. Would have been 5 stars but when we arrived the 2 ladies serving at the bar were more interested in talking to each other than seeing who was next to be served. Having served 2 people who arrived at the bar after me I moved from the till end of the bar to the middle in hope of getting served. However the talkative duo served someone else who arrived at the bar after me and then wandered off tidying up. I once again moved back to the end of the bar by the till and after complaining to my wife about the lack of service one of the ladies finally looked up and asked if I needed to be served. Very poor for a friday night
