I've been desperate to eat at Yauatcha for years and so was really disappointed to find that the Taste of Yauatcha (TOY) Menu offered through Bookatable was really quite underwhelming. The restaurant itself is elegant and well-staffed so service was always sharp and professional, the dim sum served as part of the TOY menu was all of a high quality but not so high as to be discernible from many other dim sum resturants or even chains that I have visited around London previously. Most frustrating of all was that (other than the cheung fun) this menu entails literally only one of each dim sum listed on the menu per person and so it was inevitable that even after a few shared bites of the dessert we were leaving the restaurant £40 down and still hungry. I wish I had known how small the portioning of this menu was going to be as I would have much rather paid more and received advice from the wait staff on portioning between us. Even with a cocktail and pot of tea included in this offer you can't possibly leave feeling it was good value if you are headed straight round the corner to Chinatown to pick up a steamed bun to fill a hole.

Great food & service, delicious location. I always book a dinner at Yatchua during my stay in London, and don't miss to start with a good signature cocktail or great tea from the list

We ordered aromatic duck and some steamed dim sum. The aromatic duck was good as outside the skin was crispy and the meat was tender and moist. Overall was good. Will come back.

I piatti erano deliziosi. È sicuramente il mio ristorante preferito in tutta Londra. Consiglio di prendere: Venison Puff, edamame truffle dumpling, duck puff, duck roll e il maiale. L’anatra era strepitosa, in qualsiasi preparazione. I dolci non mi hanno entusiasmato particolarmente, bellissimi ma non di gran gusto. Consiglio invece il gelato, soprattutto il sorbetto all’arancia e il gelato alla banana.
