Specialising in small plates and all-day grazing offerings, the Yauatcha menu showcases delicate steamed dim sum, fresh seafood, and sumptuous oriental-style meats. Enjoy favourites like crispy aromatic duck, stir-fry pepper chilli seafood with asparagus.

Bespoke desserts are crafted with the utmost skill at Yauatcha in Soho, with handmade chocolates and macarons on offer, as well as mandarin macadamia, or a summery raspberry delice. Fruity and cleansing cocktails are mixed using the finest available ingredients, while the drinks list features vintage wines, sakes, and flowering teas. Choose from a delicious range of chocolates, gateaux and macarons at the Yauatcha Patisserie.

A sister restaurant of the celebrated Hakkasan fleet, Yauatcha in London sits 8 minutes’ walk from Tottenham Court Road and Oxford Circus Tube Stations.

Went for a set menu, good portions but some dim sum lacked flavour. We were the last lunch time seating and service was very slow and had to keep searching for people to serve us by the end. It was a warm day but no fans placed upon clients until we asked but huge fan was at the entrance of the door hitting reception staff. Expressed poor service to front staff as leaving and no apology. Had been to the restaurant 5 years ago and had a good experience but not this time. Will not be going back.

We chose a close menu. The first dish (dumplings) was tasty and special. We liked it! But only 2 tiny dumplings, so literally a taste. Main dishes were both very basic. Some beef and vegetarian duck. Felt like Chinese food from the 90’s, “sweet and sour”, nothing special& no reason to pay so much money. Took very long time for the food to come, around 30/35 min!

Very disappointing food. We had tried the Yautcha in Mumbai before and really enjoyed the menu and experience. However, the London branch food was very average. Ping Pong is much more superior in terms of taste. Saving grace was the dessert which was very nice

The food is great as always! Go to the restaurant since 2011. The only thing is that the stuff is mean, they don’t treat you equally. If i go there with someone who gives a lot of tips they will be dancing around you and will find the table you want (they remember such visitors) but if you not ready to give hundreds of pounds in tips so get much lower treatment. It was my birthday and I booked in advance, asked for a sit on the ground floor and they just ignored. It’s dark there and I don’t feel comfortable. There more great restaurants with the same level but much friendlier and you feel special.

Lovely lunch. Staff attentive and patient as the other diner was delayed.

Beautiful, elegant and modern all at once. Food was excellent with a good choice of traditional and more unusual dishes but not the overwhelming choice typical of Chinese restaurants, so what they offer is very well executed. Impeccable service. Fun atmosphere.

Before my visit to London I received many recommendations about this Yauatcha. Me and 4 of my friends visited there this last Saturday. Unfortunately, it was beyond less then expected. Although the cocktails were very nice, the food was not more then OK. The service was slow and inpatient, the place was too hot and steamy although we asked several times to put the AC on, and the total experience was truly disappointing. I am not sure why it is so highly recommended while there are so many very good restaurants in London, other ones that we visited were excellent and did not fail our expectations. I am sorry but we just did not get this place.
