Restaurant description

Sister restaurant of Michelin-starred Yauatcha in Soho and a member of the acclaimed Hakkasan fleet, Yauatcha City presents high-end Chinese delicacies. The vision of Parisian interior designers GBRH, this spectacular semi-circular space covers 7220 square feet.

The varied Yauatcha menu spans from grazing dishes served all day, to ornate desserts and chocolates from the on-site patisserie. Choose a basket of perfectly steamed dumplings with prawn and chive or poached Peking chicken, or indulge in luxury signature dishes like crispy aromatic duck, or jasmine tea-smoked ribs.

Now a thing of legend, the dessert counter at Yauatcha in London offers rainbow-coloured rows of macarons, artisan chocolates and dainty desserts, including lemon mousse with basil and meringue, or raspberry delice with chocolate and lychee. An impressive, oriental-inspired cocktail list is offset by rare teas and a stock of fine wines.

One of the most highly-acclaimed Chinese restaurants in London, find Yauatcha City just 2 minutes’ walk from Liverpool Street Station.

Made a booking and had to wait 20 minutes to get seated. Music was too loud and it was difficult to have a conversation without shouting at each other. I felt like I was at a club instead of a restaurant and couldn't wait to get out. Food was decent but unfortunately all the other factors would not make me want to return again.

Perfect date night location; causal smart and buzzing. One of the courses weren’t to our taste and we were compensated with a choice of dessert. Our waitress Claira was so lovely. Will definitely be back

Had a thoroughly enjoyable meal here from start to finish. Staff were polite, professional and happy to help. We had a mixed meal and both really enjoyed the Dim sum and both dishes for the main course. Food was delicious and as the evening went on the restaurant became very busy and it’s rasy to see why. Great food and great service, would recommend and come back

Lovely dining experience. The set menu for the deal was amended to cater to a vegetarian in the group without any fuss or extra cost which was appreciated.

despite the London festival menu being listed as £35 online, it was £38 when we arrived. Otherwise food was good.

We had the Festival Menu which was overall a very good deal - it was £35 for 4 course and a cocktail. I have done these offers before at Yauatcha and always had a wonderful time. The dim sum and pastries courses were excellent and were really light with lots of subtle flavours. I wasn't as keen on the chili prawn main course as it was a bit boring with the rice. There wasn't a choice of cocktail with the menu and I wasn't particular keen either on the cocktail choice which was a cherry sour. All of that said we had a wonderful time and will be back as I love Yauatacha. Next time I will order a la carte.
