The dim sum is extravagant!
25 January 2018
Sister restaurant of Michelin-starred Yauatcha in Soho and a member of the acclaimed Hakkasan fleet, Yauatcha City presents high-end Chinese delicacies. The vision of Parisian interior designers GBRH, this spectacular semi-circular space covers 7220 square feet.
The varied Yauatcha menu spans from grazing dishes served all day, to ornate desserts and chocolates from the on-site patisserie. Choose a basket of perfectly steamed dumplings with prawn and chive or poached Peking chicken, or indulge in luxury signature dishes like crispy aromatic duck, or jasmine tea-smoked ribs.
Now a thing of legend, the dessert counter at Yauatcha in London offers rainbow-coloured rows of macarons, artisan chocolates and dainty desserts, including lemon mousse with basil and meringue, or raspberry delice with chocolate and lychee. An impressive, oriental-inspired cocktail list is offset by rare teas and a stock of fine wines.
One of the most highly-acclaimed Chinese restaurants in London, find Yauatcha City just 2 minutes’ walk from Liverpool Street Station.

Exceptional service and food hit the mark as always. We both had the set vegetarian menu with a cocktail. The presentation of the food was beautiful and made it almost a shame to eat it. My favourite part of the meal was the dim sum starter which was full of flavour and light in texture. I have been to this restaurant dozens of times know with friends and family and always left feeling happy and satisfied with the experience.

The food was good, but that's it. Way too loud, not offered the menu we booked for, Food and drink utterly overpriced - and poor service, tiny tables, paper napkins and disposable chopsticks. Staff inattentive, awful ambiance. Would not return.

We had the special offer set menu, service was prompt and highly orchestrated, very impressive. The food was interesting, varied and good value with wonderful, colourful Won Tons as starters with great flavours.
The promised ‘tea’ however never materialised.

Poor service, maybe because of shortage of waiters or poor management. Everyone was rushing to catch up
Destroyed leather on sofas which was not part of a disigning consept
Lower than average quality of chopsticks. Those you can find in every street food market.
Didnt meet expected starred standards.
