Sister restaurant of Yauatcha in Soho and a member of the acclaimed Hakkasan fleet, Yauatcha City presents high-end Chinese delicacies. The vision of Parisian interior designers GBRH, this spectacular semi-circular space covers 7220 square feet. The Yautcha City terraces are the perfect spot for balmy days and long summer nights.
The varied Yauatcha menu spans from grazing dishes served all day, to ornate desserts and chocolates from the on-site patisserie. Choose a basket of perfectly steamed dumplings with prawn and chive, or indulge in luxury signature dishes like crispy aromatic duck, or jasmine tea-smoked ribs.
Now a thing of legend, the dessert counter at Yauatcha in London offers rainbow-coloured rows of macarons, artisan chocolates and dainty desserts, including lemon mousse with basil and meringue, or raspberry delice with chocolate and lychee. An impressive, oriental-inspired cocktail list is offset by rare teas and a stock of fine wines.
One of the most highly-acclaimed Chinese restaurants in London, find Yauatcha City just 2 minutes’ walk from Liverpool Street Station.
Groups of 8 diners or more can be seated on rectangular tables in the main restaurant area or at the more casual high tables to enjoy the theatre and atmosphere of the open wok kitchen. A larger group of 30 guests can enjoy window seating overlooking Broadgate Circle. Yauatcha City can also be hired exclusively for up to 320 guests for a drinks and canapé party or 110 guests for a seated event, and offers guests the full use of its 2 bars, 2 terraces and restaurant area.

Every dish was superb. Would particularly recommend the vegan menu even if you’re not vegan! The service I would say was ‘relaxed’ - on a busy Friday evening I think the restaurant could have done with another assistant head waiter at times. Personal preference is to be able to order drinks then food fairly rapidly, take time with the main service and then promptly prepare the bill. Music was a bit intrusive.

A great City Lunch on the Open table deal. Very good service in a pleasant restaurant that we always come back to.

Utterly lovely, good food, good ice tea, amazing dessert, great service and thoughtful touches (taking a dish we barely touched off our bill, writing Happy Anniversary on our dessert plate).

Delightfully tasty dimsum

Food is absolutely amazing. Some of the best Chinese food I’ve eaten. Service is good although I have a problem with the wine police. I ordered a bottle which was stored away from me. Waiter topped me up when he wasn’t busy! Felt like my mum was there policing me! By the time I’d finished my meal I still had half s bottle left. I think I’m old enough to manage my wine intake thank you. Spoilt a fabulous meal to be honest.

the staff weren't really looking at the diners. Our chicken and chilli dish was warm.... and way to many chillis which was disappointing!

Th food was good but the restaurant is very very noisy. As there were quite a few larger groups of customers they got louder and louder trying to shout above the background noise. Impossible for the 2 of us to have a conversation at all. Because it was so busy the service wasn't prompt. This was a Wednesday lunchtime Our main meals arrived before out starter plates had been cleared. I love dim sum but didn't think this was very much better than the Chinese restaurants we normally use. The main courses were much better they were delicious
