Amidst the bustle of the world-famous market, Wright Brothers Spitalfields serves a menu of fresh and largely British seafood dishes. With a long bar, large windows and exposed brick walls, the restaurant is laid-back and homely yet modern and vibrant.

Changing regularly to include the freshest produce, The Wright Brothers menu presents a blend of fresh oysters, small bar plates, fruits de mer and classic seafood dishes. Joining the market fish of the day are the signature fish pie, deep-fried haddock with mushy peas and triple-cooked chips, and for meat-lovers, chargrilled ribeye steak with béarnaise sauce. Amongst the more exotic options, try Skrei cod with spiced carrot mash and sweet and sour carrots, or fillet of seabass with broccoli, chilli and lemon sauce.

True to the East London tradition of pairing gin with oysters, a range of creative cocktails can be enjoyed on the heated outdoor terrace or the central marble bar.

Wright Brothers London overlooks the buzz of Spitalfields Market. Shoreditch High Street Rail Station is a 5-minute walk away whilst Liverpool Street Station is also close by.

I have eaten at this restaurant many times. Lunch on Monday 26th was a little disappointing though. I ordered whole brown crab as a main as I always do. The extremely polite waitress took my order as she did with my two colleagues. She returned to say no crab available ! This a premier fish and shellfish restaurant. I accept that on a Monday some fish is difficult to be available but they have tanks with Lobster and Crab. Dissapointing simply the manager should advice the staff what is on and what is off. Bad management not the delightful waitresses fault.

Fabulous friendly service. Very knowledgeable about the menu and wine. Garlic roasted crab was delicious. We'll be back again for sure!

If you love fish this is one of the best restaurants around, great oysters followed for me by Lemon Sole, my partner had Grilled Lobster. The service was exceptionally good , charming and prompt a very helpful wine waiter. A young vibrant feel to the place have eaten here and at its original Borough Market location and on balance I think the extra space at Spitalfields make it a little better.

Very friendly staff, we had a nice table. Food was excellent. We had oysters grilled seabass and fish and chips. The service was friendly, and responsive and the ambience and interior were (although pretty much mainstream with hanging filament lights etc) pleasant and delightful.
I was positively surprised about everything in this restaurant, given that it is in a mainstream commercial location
