Set within the historic crypt of St Paul’s Cathedral, St Paul's Tea Room takes its name from the building’s illustrious architect, Sir Christopher Wren. This elegant, subtly lit space is lined with majestic stone pillars, and magnificent stained-glass arched windows.
Guests can enjoy a refined afternoon tea in this jaw dropping space, with the St Paul's Tea Room menu featuring produce sourced from respected UK suppliers. Enjoy a stand of sweets and savouries piled high with meats from Cherry Farm and smoked salmon from John Ross Jr, as well as hand-crafted cakes and scones and pastries.
Complementing this London afternoon tea experience are fine teas and artisan coffees, along with sparkling wines sourced from an independent British producer.
A venture from the acclaimed Searcys group, St Paul's Tea Room brings classic British indulgence to one of London’s most spectacular buildings. Find St Paul’s Tube Station just 2 minutes’ walk away.

Customer reviews for St Paul's Tea Room

It was OK. Just OK. I was a little underwhelmed with the actual “Tea Room” as I thought it lacked any sort of atmosphere and we could have been in any tea room. In fact the seating area outside of the tea room in the cloisters seemed to have more ambience. The food was ok also but nothing special. The sparkling wine however was good

The time had to be changed. They mixed the date up, did not reply to two phone messages and took their time replying to my emails.

What a lovely restaurant in a beautiful location! from start to finish the staff were so lovely and helpful! food was amazing, the sweets were a little too sweet for me (but I don't have a sweet tooth) and the other nice thing about this was the fact that you had a choice of tea or COFFEE - very rare to find this option at an afternoon tea!
It was that good im going back on the 15th December

Interesting room in the crypt of St Paul's. Nice tea, not too much, glass of sparkling wine, which the waiter turned into a Bellini. Excellent service.
