Lovely food, helpful staff, surprised the place was empty, only 3 other diners the whole time we were there. Doesn't help there is a cheap cafe outside the door but we thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon tea experience at at pauls

The overall experience was very nice. The advert could do with more photos of the venue itself as I did not completely know what to expect. The food was very nice and the tea and champagne were great. The room itself was uncomfortably hot, despite the windows being open. The only complaint that can be made is in relation to the abrupt manner in which we were told we had to leave. We had booked for 15:30 and the room closed at 17:00. We were not given any warning of the time left, for example "just to let you know, we will be closing in half an hour"; we were simply presented with the bill and told that the restaurant was closed. It was a shame as up until that point it had been an enjoyable experience, however this approach lacked, in my opinion, a good deal of etiquette and awareness of customer relations.

Great experience, lovely venue. Well presented and the waiting staff were attentive at the right time. The small chocolate bomb that melted when hot sauce was poured over it was special and very topical if you watch Bake Off

Had a fabulous English tea prior to a family wedding. Excellent service and they made special sandwiches to cater for some dietary requirements. Great setting.

Had such a lovely experience. Especially enjoyed the chocolate bomb with warm fudge sauce. Would definitely recommend a visit for a special occasion.

The food was lovely, but we would have like a few more sandsiches, or savoury foods to eat. We really enjoyed the chocolate bomb with the hot carmel sauce at the end.

I didn't think the atmosphere was as good as expected. More expensive than many afternoon tea venues I have been too, and thought there would be a little more ambience. The waitress was very nice and offered us champagne instead of sparkling wine, as it was a special birthday, for my friends 50th.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Champagne Afternoon Tea in the Wren’s Tea Room in the Crypt at St Paul’s Cathedral - one of the best experiences we’ve had and they happily accommodated the special dietary requirements for one of our party - highly recommended!
