Lovely atmosphere, great decor, friendly staff - attentive but not too much.
Amazing food - everything we had was delicious and we had expected the portions to be smaller but you get a lot which makes it good value.

this cosy restaurant is on busy rather unlovely Stoke Newington High Street. The 3 tables in the window are recommended for summer time as the restaurant is long, narrow and dark so cosy for winter time. Outside tables very a little optimistic on the narrow noisy footpath. Service was excellent: attentive, welcoming and knowledgable although we were placed at the wrong table initially and had to move. The Italian-inspired food is delicious: fresh, seasonal and richly flavoured. This is not a cheap, neighbourhood restaurant and we easily spent £50 each although should have ordered a bottle of house white as we had four glasses in the end. The only caveat I'd have is that the Primi dishes (as in an Italian restaurant) were pasta (a la Italia) and very expensive, as expensive as the Secondi dishes. We had the most expensive @£18 and no Secondi even though it was suggested we have Primi and Secondi initially. Starters especially the courgettes dish was fabulously tasty. It should be noted that as it's small and tables close together that it is very noisy and not for a romantic triste even though I think the adjacent table was a blind date. (we were all very cosy).

Wouldn’t let us have a risotto starter as a main and refused drinks at 9:55pm said the bar had closed.

From the minute you enter Wolf, the atmosphere is calming & welcoming. The service is attentive, warm & knowledgeable. The food is utterly delicious. I had a wonderful risotto with panacetta, which was wonderful, a truly lovely place.

Excellent fresh food and cocktails. Attentive and personal staff who make you feel cared for with a local feeling.

Great service and the food is consistently excellent. But . . And this is a personal preference . . . the focaccia ( that you serve as the house ‘bread’) often seems a tad heavy on the olive oil, such that the latter dominates the flavour of the bread itself. But that’s a very minor criticism. Overall, I really like the vibe of the restaurant and the honesty of the food. Keep it up!
