The relatively new Bavarian Pub of the Starnbräu is situated in the middle of the pedestrian zone of Bad Tölz and welcomes its guests with classic Bavarian specialities. The Bierbratwürstl (beer sausages) from their own butchers? are a real treat when cooked on the beech wood grill. Hofbräu-Beer is available with these organic produce and there is also horseradish and Sauerkraut, as well as homemade potato salad on offer. In addition there are breads and well-loved delicacies from the simple Bavarian cuisine, and with it you are able to take a fresh Hofbräu beer served in a stoneware jug. The down to earth guest rooms with names such as Rossstall (horse stable), Scheune (barn), Schwemme (wash house) and Sudhaus (broth house), add to the relaxed ambiance. In the ?broth house? you can find the old copper kettle, in the ?horse stable?, you will see water troughs and hay feeders. In the ?wash house? you can get bar service and music from 8.00pm from Thursdays until Saturdays. Pub musicians play in the ?broth house? on Sundays from 11 o?clock until the early hours. You can enjoy a cold beer with a gorgeous view of the Isar in the ?barn?. On Sunday afternoons the ?barn? then turns into a dance floor for all of the guests.
