I booked lunch for six ....and we were given excellent service from the moment we all arrived at The Landmark. We were given a lovely table and the staff were attentive but not intrusive. The menu was interesting and varied and everyone was delighted with their choice of food. The smoked salmon starter was superb! Five of us chose the fish dish for the main course ......and it was excellent. My husband had chicken thought it was the best, most flavoursome dish he had had for a long time. Deserts were also superb although I had the cheese platter .....which was faultless. The chutney was delicious .....and the accompanying crispy puffed crackers were unusual, original and perfect with the cheese. Thanks to the Landmark .....we all enjoyed an exceptional lunch time experience! I would (and have) recommend your restaurant to my friends.

Great service attentive but not overly fussy - just right. The sandwiches both vege and traditional were fresh and a good range. The scones were the best I've had since my Nan's!!!! The cakes - amazing presentation and range of flavours especially liked the citrus one. We were celebrating 30 years together and the staff brought a special cake and fruits was a lovely touch. Based on this experience we are planning to come back to celebrate 60 years!!!! But as I don't think we can wait that long I hope to return for an evening dinner or Sunday lunch soon. Please pes my thanks on to all the staff.

Service was excellent, staff very welcoming and attentive. We had a lovely and enjoyable 3-course dinner in nice surroundings, the steak, chicken and vegetarian dishes were delicious and we cleared our plates. The pianist added atmosphere and the Winter Gardens is just outside the station, so even we didn't get lost!!

It was intended to be a 'memorable homeland experience' for my mother and so it was. She has dietry limitations including lactose and gluten. Has difficulty in eating very sweet things. And others related to main meals. This experience meant that she was able to endulge in a variety of tastes she thought she no longer would enjoy. She enjoyed all the sanwiches, particularly those with white bread. (I enjoyed eating her brown bread for her!)
She enjoyed one of the scons. She hadn't eaten one in Brazil for a long time since it is not part of Brazilian food options. She found the sweet cakes rather sweet so ate half of them I cannot remember wich was the less sweet which she ate fully. Although she could not eat the 'celebration bun', she enjoyed the pampering of the bun and when the waitress brought her a fruit celebration specially for her she was moved. The touch of personalisation and a sense of ample choices (even though she had had enough) made her feel very special.
