Love the location - fantastic views.
Good staff - service was efficient and friendly.
Food served was excellent and the portions were just fine. The glass of Champagne was very generous and the strawberry on the rim of the glass was a nice touch.
We were disappointed at the lack of choice of beverage, ie simply tea or coffee. We'd hoped for a choice of different teas, as we've had in other hotels.
Also the crockery it was served in was pretty "robust", something more at home in a fast food outlet or a canteen. Other hotels have used bone china tea pots and cups and it really does add to the experience.

I had afternoon tea here with my husband and it was my third visit. Previous experiences have been enjoyable and I was always left happy however when I visited most recently I was a little disappointed with a few small things. For example we stood waiting for a while to be seated as staff were nowhere to be seen. I was disappointed that I could only choose one sandwich filling as usually you have a variety and you only got one of each cake so my husband and I halved the cakes (which made them bitesize) so that we got to taste each one. Other than that the staff were friendly and the presentation and cleanliness of the place was perfect. We did enjoy the food but it wasn't as enjoyable as it has been previous times.
