The food was delicious! And there was live music playing, really lovely.

Located amidst the scenic Hertfordshire landscape, Williams’ Bar & Restaurant at the TewinBury Farm Hotel holds 2 AA Rosettes for its British cuisine. Guests can dine in the cosy interior or al fresco under large umbrellas.

Williams’ Bar & Restaurant menu is small and concise, and every dish has been carefully curated to create a unique selection. Potted salt beef with crispy quail’s egg and parsnip toffee is a highlight of the starters, while pumpkin risotto with grilled artichoke makes for a mouthwatering main course.

The desserts at Williams’ Restaurant are equally enticing, with roasted fig and goats’ cheese ice cream being a popular choice. For lighter bites, the bar and terrace menu offers an array of sandwiches and salads, alongside a few more substantial options.

A well-informed cocktail and wine list is available, and beverages served at William’s Bar & Restaurant near Welwyn Garden City are Fair-Trade accredited. The restaurant also plays host to live music twice a month. Welwyn North Train Station is a 6-minute drive away.

Good Sunday roast. Live music which was good, but no one really listening which was a shame for the musician.
    Surprisingly good service

Absolutely loved our evening meal here. The food was sensational and the service was exemplary. Would recommend and looking forward to going back at another point.

The breakfast I felt was a little disappointing potentially because the evening meal was so nice. But the breakfast hot buffet was warm and uninspiring.

The table we were sitting at was not a good position as it was in a draft from the kitchen door. It was in fact quite cold. There was also a draft from the window.

It took an unacceptable length of time from eating the starter to receiving our mains. It seems there was a big party having tea and sandwiches which seemed to take priority over our hot meals.

Food was average and in view of my many previous visits, overall I was disappointed.

Food was fantastic, service less so, left waiting to order for over twenty minutes, despite only three tables being occupied, although plenty of apologies for the slow service to be fair. No offer of the free glass of house wine despite being advertised on online booking

The afternoon tea in the new restaurant section “the cow shed” was superb. Lots of beautiful details from the exquisite cakes and fluffy scones to the huge choice of tea. We will certainly be returning!
