Really enjoyed it. Food was really tasty and the service was second to none. Every member of staff had a smile on their face. Great set menu options and price.

Exceptional service: warm, courteous, flexible and thoughtful. Quantities for mains are modest: i was still hungry after a £27 cod with tempura of monk’s beard, but it was delicious.

We had the three course lunch for £37. Very tasty and good value for money. The ambience is perfect, not too close to neighbouring tables, and above all it is quiet so can actually hear what is said! All the staff are well trained and just perfect. Not too keen on the sourdough bread which comes automatically. What has happened to proper traditional bread? We had one glass each of perfectly adequate house red.

We had a lovely lunch, beginning with an excellent Negroni. The food was great, the waiter was excellent, really helpful & friendly. However paying our bill rather spoiled the experience as we were overcharged. The restaurant failed to realise we had a Bookatable deal & the person processing the payment could not grasp simply crediting our cards with the overcharged amount.
