I personally had the apple and hazlenut salad with chicken which was delicious. The team accomodated an upstairs table as the lunch was business related and the service was incredibly quick.

This trendy warehouse-style London London restaurant specializes in fabulous free-range chicken. Advocates of strength in simplicity, Whyte & Brown’s philosophy is to make the most of selected produce from trusted suppliers.

The humble chicken is the ‘hero’ ingredient on the Whyte & Brown menu. Starters include grilled chipotle & lime-glazed wings with buttermilk range dressing, fried chicken pops with seaweed mayo, a Spanish Scotch egg with saffron aioli & padron peppers, and classic chicken goujons with tomato mayo. For vegetarians there’s the tasty tinga tostadas with sweet potato, avocado, onion, coriander & sour cream, or the Thai carrot, coconut & lemongrass soup.

Main dishes include the ever-popular chicken (or halloumi) souvlaki with beetroot hummus, black olive tapenade, a classic half roast chicken with lemon, garlic & banana shallots; and chicken paillard with heritage tomatoes & rocket. Amongst the burger options are roast chicken crispy burger with gravy mayo, crispy chicken skin & sage and onion relish, bbq pulled chicken burger, and the Portobello & chestnut mushroom burger with lettuce, tomato, red onion & truffle mayo. To finish, there’s a dark chocolate brownie with chocolate sauce & vanilla ice cream, Eton berry mess, and passion fruit tart with pistachios & vanilla ice cream.

An extensive wine list, great craft beers, and classic cocktails can also be enjoyed in the quirky restaurant and bar interior, where giant exposed bulbs hang from industrial metal hooks over the bar and chunky wooden tables and white-washed factory pipes fill the dining space. There’s also a great al fresco dining area available out in the courtyard all year round.

Just off Regent Street and London’s iconic Carnaby Street, Whyte & Brown is a 5-minute walk from Oxford Circus and Piccadilly Circus Tube stations.

Food was pretty average, nothing out for the ordinary my partners main was not very good as it had no taste (grilled chicken paillard, heritage tomatoes, rocket ). He did enjoy the starter chicken goujons, tomato mayo.

Good food, friendly service, both the crispy chicken burger and chicken souvlaki were very good.

We got there quite early but wanted to enjoy the evening and not feel rushed out which we weren't. I had the halloumi souvlaki which was delicious and really filling. My mum had a salad which had a lot of rocket but she enjoyed it. I also had an espresso martini which was delicious. Overall we had a great time here and felt the service was good.

Been here a couple of times and had a good meal, unfortunately on this occasion not so much. I had the roast chicken which I thought was very tough and a little cold. The veg was a bit strange to, one mouthful of carrots was very over done whilst the next was like crunching through a rock.

For dessert I had the chocolate and walnut brownie, which was served warmish with ice cream. Whilst tasty, I would expect the brownie to be hot (maybe that's my preference).

Met my Dad for lunch. First time at the restaurant. Liked the idea of it focusing on free range chicken. It was great. Tasty food, decent service, nice setting.

Interesting menu - Paillard of chicken and souvlaki really very good. The sauce for the supreme not as good. The brownie and the sticky toffee puddings very good.

I visited the restaurant before and had a really good experience. When I visited it again I thought the service wasn't as good and its felt very rushed.
