The food was really tasty. I had the Piccadilly tea. The server was really accommodating to my seafood allergy and swapped out the salmon sandwich for another chicken one (which was delicious). The tea I had was good and I was happy to receive tea recommendations. I also like the fact that you can get a different tea if the one you initially chose was not to your taste. Overall, it was a really good experience. My only note would be that it is a little pricy, although all afternoon teas are.

Piccadilly Afternoon tea; fabulous food and service. Excellent recommendations on the teas as well. Favourite tea now is cucumber mint #yummy and my mum was pleasantly surprised with her elderflower earl grey. We both bought them after to experience at home

Covent garden is a lovely location and the tea room is a great find. Afternoon tea was very good value for money. Shame we were on such a small table.
Not much room for everything. Felt annoyed that we had a poor table especially as we had booked. People coming in off street got better tables than us. We are regular customers of Whittards and we did feel a bit let down

The staff in the Covent Garden tea room were exceptionally friendly, upon arrival and throughout our afternoon tea. The food and drinks arrived quickly and were presented beautifully. We opted for the Grocer's Tea, which had more than enough food for two. I especially enjoyed the spinach roll, which was absolutely delicious. The small tarts we were presented with were also delicious, especially the mango and passion fruit one.

I would like to mention staff member Amy, who took us around the shop and talked us through many of the teas. She was very knowledgeable about them all and also very enthusiastic. She mentioned her personal favourites, let us try many of them and overall it was a very enjoyable experience. Thank you to her.

Pretty average. Certainly nothing special. No different from an ordinary Mid/low level tea shop. Food: scones and sandwiches were stale. Staff were nice.

The Whittard Tea Bar at Covent Garden is one of my favourites places to be in London. I always recommend their teas to everyone. I love the location in a very unique and hidden place. It has been changed a bit through the time. It used to be connected to the stored upstairs which was wonderful while your were going downstairs to sea a Tea Wonderland.

Their crockery set has been changed. I used to love the floral plates, cups and saucers. The design used to enhance the teas bringing their Victorian past to the present. The design was extraordinary and matching more with the company. They new design is poorer and I find it childish. I hope they bring back something more elegant which goes hand in hand with Witthard Teas, Coffees and Chocolates. Appropriate crockery to enjoy high standard teas!

Finger sandwiches and scones delicious! Mini-cakes could be better I think!

    Thank you very much!
    Kind Regards

    Jose V. Peris-Martin, a Whittard fan!
