Situated at InterContinental London Park Lane, the Wellington Lounge provides a truly fitting way to enjoy Afternoon Tea in London. Located on the site of 145 Piccadilly, the Queen’s former childhood residence, the Wellington Lounge is an award-winning location in which to experience this great British tradition.

The Wellington Lounge serves a collection of world cuisine, showcased through its all day tasters sharing menu. The Park Lane Hotel's afternoon tea programme has also been expertly crafted, featuring bespoke tea combinations. Diners can enjoy exotic infusions blended with everything from jasmine silver needles to the world exclusive creation of Madagascan vanilla pods combined with marigolds.

With an additional champagne afternoon tea option, a seasonal menu is also offered to showcase the best in British ingredients, ranging from steamed Devon red chicken to west coast Scottish lobster. Traditional English desserts like scones with Devonshire clotted cream are also a must.

With stunning views taking in Buckingham Palace and Big Ben, the Wellington Lounge is a time capsule of British sophistication and elegance in Mayfair.

We went for afternoon tea and it was fantastic. Very relaxed surroundings; décor was very chic and the music was just right. Staff very smart and attentive, but not overbearing. As you would expect the food was lovely and the choice of teas are comparable with other venues we have been to for tea. Thoroughly recommend this place.

Service was exceptional and very friendly. The cakes were quite amazing. London prices, though, so be prepared!

We had one of your set afternoon teas. For a top London hotel, we were a little disappointed in the lack of finnesse; e.g.We had to ask for new plates and knives after the sandwich course. Tea was immediately poured out , not allowed to stand and infuse (we had 5 pots between three of us over the period we were there ). I think that you should just pour out a small sample and ask if this is to our liking. We had to ask for spoons for the dessert. The staff were very courteous, however, and often asked if everything was to our liking. The food and tea were good. You advertised that Wellington Arch could be seen from all positions; but we couldn't from our corner table. This didn't matter to us, since it is not an outstanding feature of the area; it was just that you had made a point of informing people on your web site. No visible signs as to the location of toilets. Surprised at the distance from our venue, a handicapped person would have great difficulty in coping with this. The cubicle used by my wife had a wet floor.
