The guy (I can't remember his name- he had curly dark hair) serving our table - was fantastic. He was so helpful and even let us taste some wines before getting a bottle. Very on it - A great hire and addition to WC. Very impressed.

Set in a former 120 year old Edwardian public convenience, WC Clapham is a unique venue. A selection of small plates, cheeses and charcuterie sharers is joined by a wine list combining classic European wines with quirky New World selections.

The WC menu is led by sharing plates, all served with sourdough. Tuck into a cheese and charcuterie board, a Greek-style mezze selection, and a modern interpretation of a ploughman’s featuring barbecue pulled pork sausage roll, black pudding Scotch egg and peppered pork shoulder. Elsewhere on the menu find tartiflette oozing with hot Epoisse cheese, and a choice of small plates and salads.

The ever-changing wine list at WC offers an eclectic mix of the Old and New World. Other drink options include classic and modern cocktails and London craft beers.

Laidback and rustic with exposed brick walls and wooden seating, find WC London just yards from Clapham Common Tube Station.

This was the second time I have visited W/C and it didn't disappoint the service again was great. The candles and atmosphere make it great for a date or girly catch up but the star of the show has to be the meatballs or the chorizo rolls!! Would definitely (and have) recommend to a friend.

We asked the WC white wine and it was very weird taste, not good at all. We asked then for an Albariño. The service is good in terms of they look after if you need something but they don’t have proper service manners. Wine glasses are not proper clean according the wine price. Toilets have nice products in terms of soap and paper towels but they are very untity and not clean all night long.
The cheese and charcuterie was good. The environment is all right. It is a bit uncomfortable to see the dirty walls ( I assume part of the decoration) thinking that was an old toilet and not an old brewery or bakery.

Had a lovely meal and drinks when my friends and I visited WC Clapham for the first time Thursday night. I sadly didn't get the name of our waitress but she was absolutely brilliant. She offered us great advice on what drinks to buy and which of the dishes to try and we were not disappointed. Loved the cosy booth we were sitting in. Quirky venue.
