Dating back to the 19th century, Walton Arms is a rural British pub that is filled with historic charm and rustic comfort. Crackling open fires and antique leather armchairs make this a perfect setting for relaxing with one of the bar's cask ales, while the menu serves up a great selection of wholesome recipes.

From classic British home-style treats, through to modern tastes of the continent, the Walton Arms menu uses only the freshest seasonal ingredients. To start, there are hearty sharers like baked camembert topped with cider-soaked raisins, moving on to favourites such as British chicken pie topped with puff pastry.

Stone-baked pizzas feature a variety of gourmet toppings, while the steak selection is aged for 28 days and served with a choice of sauces and sides. On Sundays, there are hearty roasts, and kids get their own dedicated menus as well.

Puddings at the Walton Arms in Warrington include indulgences like chocolatey ale cake, and coconut milk sorbet. From the bar, carefully selected cask ales are on tap alongside beers from around the world. There is also a fine wine list that is frequently updated, and a range of premium spirits.

A wonderfully tranquil rural pub, Walton Arms is a 15-minute drive from Warrington, with its award-winning shopping market. The Moore Nature Reserve is also just 5 minutes' drive away.

We have been for a meal here a few tines now and have never been disappointed. We had my partners mum with us this time and she thoroughly enjoyed it. We had the sticky sharing platter to start which was lovely, really tasty. I just had pate after that and asked Sharon our waitress for more bread which she gave us. We have had Sharon as a waitress a few times now when we have been for a meal. She is always very happy in her work, nothing is ever too much trouble and shows an interest in you which is lovely. Sharon is a credit to you and we said we couldnt praise her enough for the service we received.

We both enjoyed our meal at the Walton Arms. The service for our 1st course was a little slow but got better. My sirloin steak was rather rarer than I expected and di have some gristle but tasted good. The rest of the food was good and well cooked. The staff were very attentive and pleasant.
