Specialising in Mexican market dishes, Wahaca is the brainchild of 2005's MasterChef winner, Thomasina Miers. With a passion for the country's cuisine at its core, Wahaca Bristol offers a laidback dining menu, zingy cocktails and thirst-quenching soft drinks, while the bustling dining room is filled with communal-style seating, bold street art, and splashes of colour.
Bringing together sumptuous ingredients inspired by the street stalls of Mexico, feast on a host of much-loved signature dishes from the Wahaca menu, like freshly-smashed guacamole with lime and coriander, slow-cooked outdoor-reared pork with habanero chillies, or seasonal vegetables with salsas.

Customer reviews for Wahaca Bristol

The food and service were very good.
Our experience at wahaca was spoilt by the bill, as it did not make it clear that a 10% tip had already been added.
We suggest that the management should change the bills so that they remind the customers that a 10% tip is automatically added to tables with a certain number of people.

Great service from Carlos and despite eating Mexican food before, I found the flavours so appealing. So suprised by the cocktails as we don't normally drink this type with our food but very nice and excellent advice from Carlos too. Fully recommend as a casual dining choice regardless of seat numbers however I would definitely recommend to large groups as the restaurant has a lovely hum to encourage a relaxed experience.

Excellent service and fantastic menu. Suitable for veggies too. Nice ambiance with plenty of space. Drinks can be pricey! Will definitely visit again in the future.

Excellent meal with great service from Suzie.a huge menu of really tasty and attractive dishes. BUT imagine a restaurant on the first hot day of the year with no white wine!! Evidently a mix up to change of suppliers meant that the restaurant was without white wine for the last couple of days and over this warm weekend. If you were tha manager wouldn't you have bought a few cases from one of the many wine companies in Brisol or even suggest to customers that they slip next door to Sainsbury on a BYO basis with no corkage. Remember this is chain restaurant! One table of 4 got up and left when they found out..

Wahaca staff were really nice. We had to flag down a waiter to order our drinks after we were there about 15 minutes and no one had come over to us. We ordered the food at the same time and it came out almost as quickly as our drinks. And it just kept on coming! We had a shared platter for two and there was so much food we couldn't finish it all. It was all very good and I will definitely go back again and recommend it to my friends.
