It was superbly enchanting. The food and the service were amazing and the wine list was a nostalgic trip down memory lane since everyone in the group had either lived in South Africa or recently visited. A thoroughly enjoyable evening

Friendly service and good location. I was a bit disappointed with the cheese though considering this is one of the big selling points of the restaurant. THe rest of the food and wine choice was very good.

loved the location. Close to London Bridge station and Borough Market. A block behind the main road and had outside bar area which was nice to have a drink in the sunshine before dinner. Lovely staff and choice of food was very good. Had the steak. Cooked to perfection. Will definitely return

We had been working at an event just over the river & had not eaten all day so I had booked the restaurant for a late supper. Food was great and all freshly prepared.

Lovely evening, food excellent, my steak was perfectly cooked. Brilliant end to the meal with the cheese. Only criticism was there was not enough, and we had the large selection.

Very happy to have decided to go for dinner here. A really lovely place especially if you're going with the other half or even with friends or family. The first thing that makes a big impression is the attitude, friendliness and professionalism of the staff. I had the pleasure of speaking to a few, and they were all lovely. Coming from a cheese-making family, the cheese room is a must. I got the opportunity to try a good array of cheeses, before deciding on the 4 that ended up on our board. Overall, most of the cheeses were a bit on the subtle side, so this could be an area for improvement. The Cornish Kern was a delight, whilst the blu in vinaccia as well as the goat cheese were lovely as well. We also went for the option of trying 5 50ml glasses of wine (4 red and 1 white), each with their own distinct flavours beautifully complimenting the cheese. I very rarely if ever eat steak outside, but we made an exception. I had the ribeye, whilst the other half went for the sirloin. The steaks were delicious, mine coming with chips and the most beautiful confit cheery tomatoes. The only slight disappointment was that I only got two confit cherry tomatoes. I'd have preferred more of them and less chips. The meal was finished off by trying two absolutely beautiful South African dessert wines...both simply gorgeous. I'm not a wine expert and nor am I a big alcohol drinker, but it was lovely having the opportunity to try different wines beautifully complimenting the meal. Overall - a lovely evening and the lovely staff made it even better.
