myself & a friend did the Pizza & Prosecco experience, really nice environment, friendly staff, and they didn't scrimp on the bubbles.

A great restaurant for brunch in London, the Villandry weekend brunch menu offers rustic dishes such as leek and sweet potato gallette and Shropshire sweet cured bacon baps. A delicate afternoon tea menu, served on a 3-tier cake stand, offers a selection of sandwiches, scones and mini-tarts. Cakes on Villandry’s menu include lemon and polenta cake and seasonal fruit tart.

Two major negatives. First there is (and i often experience this) an odour of fish or other cooking smells) when first entering the restaurant from Bolsover Street. I've always wondered whether there is a problem with air circulation in the kitchen. Second, i booked a table for 2 and was shown the least appealing table, which i refused, as well as the second offer. It would have been better had i been offered a few to select from rather than being shown an unattractive option first (squeezed next to the entrance).

Having said that our waitress was first class and the food very good, if a little over-priced for what was delivered. Villandry is very close to my office thus i use it a lot but i wish the offer was better. Thanks

Booked the pizza and prosecco deal for £25 per person. The prosecco was indeed free flowing but diners are on a 90min time limit which did end after 90 mins when we were told our time was up. If you want to make the most of the prosecco deal then try to finish your glass so it can be refilled. Waiters frequently top up your glass so it can be hard to tell how many glasses you have had. We ordered rosemary garlic bread with rock salt to start off which was dry and had to ask for some butter. The pizzas were generous in size and quite tasty. We ordered Eton mess and chocolate fondant to share which was delicious.

Food and prosecco were delicious. Lots to choose from and all made well.

This is the first time they seated us in the cafe and I wouldn't recommend it. The restaurant is much nicer especially for bubbly brunch. Most people in the restaurant are there for the brunch so it's a lovely atmosphere whereas you get lots of people popping into the cafe for a coffee looking scruffy and loads of kids. Not a good ambience fore a bubbly brunch

We went for the Pizza and free flowing prosecco deal. Pizza was delicious, prosecco was lovely and was constantly being refilled. Service was really good too.
