Villa Di Geggiano is a splendid 15th-century palazzo in Chianti with a noble lineage and acres of vineyards producing some of the most delicious red wine in the world. It also has an outpost in West London - a slice of Tuscan decadence and hospitality on the Chiswick High Road, with a front garden full of olive trees.
The small but perfectly formed menu features the likes of tagliolini with fresh crab meat, pici cacio e pepe and Tuscan sausages, flown in from Siena.
Imported directly from the Geggiano cellars, the wine list features and extensive selection of organic wines.
A slice of Italy in West London, Villa di Geggiano sits on Chiswick High Road. Stamford Brook and Turnham Green tube stations are both a short walk away.

Really enjoyed my dinner. Food was very good. The only minor comment is that lack options of wine by glass considering that it is an Italian restaurant. But overall experience it was great.

Very pleasant welcome on arrival, and service was unobtrusive but good throughout the meal. We had opted to be in the main room where the singer was to perform, but this turned out to involve a set menu which was a surprise and rather disappointing, but it was in fact a good set menu. The starters were excellent - bruschette that included a delicious paté and quail egg. There was a very pleasant pasta dish (cheese and pepper) - not too overwhelming, though I still couldn't quite manage the main dish which was roast chicken and potatoes. The tiramisu for dessert was very good. All in all, it was a very pleasant evening - wine was distinctly pricey but very good. We'll go again, but for the A la carte menu next time. They put a candle on my daughter's Tiramisu which was rather nice of them (her birthday). Good coffee and tea at the end. And a bus stop directly outside!

Very welcoming and friendly. Great atmosphere - fairly busy but not noisy and plenty of space between tables so we didn't feel crowded. The service was efficient but not rushed or obtrusive, and I really liked the fact that they weren't constantly trying to top up wine glasses. The menu was varied and the food very tasty; the only negative comment would be the size of the main course portions which were on the small side.
