In the heart of London’s West End, The Longacre is split over 2 floors. The main bar serves a menu of British favourites while the party never stops in the DJ-assisted dance floor area in the basement.

Highlights on The Longacre's menu include halloumi and pepper open tortilla, wagyu beef cheese and bacon burger, and indulgent chocolate brownie mess served with brownie pieces, crushed meringue and mixed berries topped with whipped cream. The bar also serves a number of nibbles and sharing platters, such as the poppin’ chicken platter.

Cosy booths, weathered wood & a glossy curved bar make for casual West End dining. The Longacre also boasts a smoking area and a large TV screen.

The Longacre in Covent Garden is a 5-minute walk from the Royal Opera House and from Shaftesbury Avenue. Leicester Square & Covent Garden Tube stations are both a 2-minute walk away.

I arrived and it seemed there wasn't a table. We got given one on the 'landing'. Had to wait ages to get asked for a drink. We were chatting quite a bit but ordered our food, starters and mains. 2 of the starters and mains were no longer available so we had to reorder. The starters arrived WITH the mains, and only 4 out of 5 mains arrived. The chips were cold and the cabbage with the pie looked like it had been trampled on. No cutlery appeared. We asked to the manager who said the cutlery was on the way and had no answer as to why the starters arrived with the mains. We advised we would not be paying for any of the food, settled the drinks bill and left. There was no apology at any time.

The bar its self was vibrant and the room at the back was very nice and cosy and had a nice ambiance about it but the food menu was limited and very expensive although the food was enjoyable. The drinks were expensive too. The bar staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The toilets were out of order and therefore we had to use the disabled toilet which was dirty and had a big TV being stored in and if you were a wheelchair user, then you would not get a wheelchair in there.
We wont be going back!! As a party of 6 we were disappointed with our visit.
