Fantastic value, convenient city centre location, few different options for vegetarians on Lunch Deal menu, which was a pleasant surprise. Waiters (esp Tony) very friendly, informative and attentive. Will definitely visit again! ....only downside was for the size of restaurant they need more loos!

Situated in the heart of the city, Verona combines authentic recipes with high quality produce to serve up classic Italian flavours. Named after the city in which Romeo & Juliet is set, the restaurant boasts a broad selection of Italian wines and an elegant atmosphere.

With a long list of homemade pasta dishes & flavourful pizzas to choose from, favourites on the Verona menu include risotto with tiger prawns, green peas & asparagus cooked in a tomato sauce with a touch of cream, spaghetti with Italian meatballs in a rich Neapolitan sauce, and pizza Romana with anchovies, capers & olives. For afters, try a traditional Italian dessert, like tiramisu with layers of mascarpone, decorated with coffee-soaked biscuits & dusted with cocoa powder.

Dimpled leather banquettes, slate-grey walls & Italian-inspired Artwork make Verona restaurant, with its moody lighting, a sophisticated, elegant space in the city centre.

Verona in Glasgow is just a 5-minute walk from Glasgow Central Rail Station and Glasgow Royal Concert Hall. Glasgow Queen Street Rail Station is a 9-minute away.
