Tables well spaced -very safe environment (Covid wise). Excellent food - puddings very rich. We were overlooked once we'd had our three courses, when we wanted to order coffee but the restaurant very generously made up for it by not charging, and it was really lovely coffee. There was a nice ambience so it felt good to be out.

Staff here are amazing, attentive, warm & great with kids. Food is nice, but not amazing. A “nice” family restaurant in that the whole family are made to feel welcome, food nice, but not amazing, but I think some of this may be down to COVID restrictions in terms of the menu selection available. Presentation was great though, so you can see they are trying and not overly priced either.

Good service and spacious restaurant. Menu could have been more extensive but food was well prepared and presented.

Booking was not found in the reception. When seated, no menu was given. Ordered afternoon tea set with coffee, but coffee only arrived in a small cup, while other tables had a coffee plunger.

Stunning hotel. The room was really lovely. The restaurant was not great as it was very expensive and provided a limited choice of food. We loved the afternoon tea and the outdoor pool. The spa staff was really accommodating.

Beautiful, exquisitely prepared food, served by attentive and friendly hotel staff. Reasonable choice of menu, despite Covid19 restrictions, something for all palettes and dietary needs. The heritage tomatoes starter was delightful and my husband stated the hock ham terrine starter was the best he'd ever had. Staff were efficient and the restaurant manager went out of his way to make our 30th wedding anniversary a memorable event.

Just returned from a Lovely relaxing 3 night stay. The food was excellent quality, especially the steak and staff were very professional, but at busy times it was noticeable that there was a lack of staff. Booking was very easy and convenient.

Lovely restaurant interior. Food delicious. I had the potato gnocci for main and choc brownie for dessert. Downside was didn't expect it to cost £7 for a bottle of mineral water!! Should have asked for tap water and myself and my friend went there on Wed on 'Eat Out To Help Out' scheme and the staff presented us with the bill without taking off the discount. I had to ask if they'd taken it off and the waiter then re issued the bill. Overall I would recommend.

The service poor. The food ok for average pub. Disappointed.
