Food tastes good but in a £14.95 pasta with prawns dish I had 1 prawn and 3 heads. This seemed a bit mean, but it was tasty and salad was good.
The service staff need to remove empties when they come to the table, I had to ask a waitress to do this, they were nice but ineffective. So we had 5 people at our table. Settings 2 glasses each, predinner drinks brought an extra glass and bottle. So that was 20 glasses etc on table when they brought mains and salads, all got v crowded. Poor supervision.

Great food, service was snail paced!

We have eaten here often: handy location for us, good food and nice ambiance. But the service can be poor. We have raised this on several occasions but it doesn't really improve.

I have been here several times with my partner and with friends. The food is good and the ambience relaxing, but the service is poor: long gaps and not much attention or energy. With a couple of exceptions the staff seem pretty indifferent sbout working there and it shows.

Good food and good service with a real "family" feeling.

An Italian restaurant patronised by Italians. Food is beautifully cooked. Currently serving the Capella Romana. This is a dish of tagliatelle with meatballs wrapped in Speck and served topped with a rich tomato sauce. Truly delightful. Wine is excellent: always Italian and they pride themselves on a low markup on the price.

Underwhelming to say the very least. The service was pitiful, unfriendly, and bordering on rude. The chef clearly has an aversion to salt ( and pepper) as nothing was seasoned even one little bit. The rice balls were so bland and not properly warmed through that the appearance and texture resembled globs of wallpaper paste. I imagine wallpaper paste would be somewhat tastier too.

There was only one main course fish dish, which for a supposed Italian style restaurant, is poor to say the very least.

My wife had the veal scallopine. It was overcooked and resembled thin sheets of wet curling cardboard.

We couldn't wait to get out of there. A truly horrid experience from start to finish.
