The room, staff, food and atmosphere were all excellent. Matthew was a perfect host and was extremely knowledgeable about and helpful with wine choices without ever patronising. My son and I both loved it and felt that there is nothing quite like it in London.

A trendy elevated hideaway in Clapham’s Old Town, Trinity showcases British-style small plates made using the finest seasonal produce. Proud holder of a Michelin Bib Gourmand, the focal point of the sleek, Scandinavian-style dining room is an open island kitchen.

Impeccably-compiled sharing plates make up the Trinity menu, which is filled with innovative flavour combinations. Dictated by the best available produce, the regularly changing selection might include confit goat belly with mustard fruit and lemon, or braised beef cheek with chestnut and truffle. Simple dessert options include damson ripple ice cream, or Wigmore cheese with pears, and guests are invited to order as few or as many dishes as they desire.

Trinity restaurant’s famed wine selection is served at this casual restaurant in Clapham, which guests can enjoy at spacious communal-bench tables.

A celebrated restaurant in a trendy area of London, Upstairs at Trinity can be found 5 minutes’ walk from Clapham Common Tube Station.

Great neighbourhood find. Didn't realise the downstairs restaurant got its Michelin Star just months ago. Upstairs has definitely the better vibe and more relaxing with high tables, a more private feel and better value too. We had a great seat by the window. Service was good. Food excellent. Had the lamb, pig's head, broccoli, BBQ watermelon and Burrata - 5 mains (tapas type portions) more than enough for two - even though the server recommended 6 -7. We were able to share the peach dessert to finish. All were great and we will be back!

Casual and relaxed but to a very high standard. Service excellent and food very creative as you would expect being "upstairs" from a Michelin Star Restaurant. Only seats about 32 on high benches and tables so some seating is "side by side" but the view is either of the food being prepared or across the Old Town piazza in Clapham. The food is presented on "sharing plates" generally but in small portions and not excessively expensive at all to have several courses. A really nice experience .... but I am a bit of a regular.
