The cauliflower side was amazing!! So was the rigatoni, great portions and flavours were incredible.

We went for a birthday celebration just two of us. The service was very good. We both had the pork belly to start which was excellent followed by the sea bream which was very good and sides were the salad and spinach in a creamy sauce which was to die for. We ended with the upside cheese sketch which was gorgeous. Overall excellent.

The food was good quality, however, we felt that the flavours weren’t equally balanced. The starter had potential but the temperature of the aubergine was refrigerator cold. Unfortunately, this just tasted like pre prepared average high street restaurant. The other starter was the pork belly which required more sweetness and possibly far less cheese mixed with the rocket as the salt was so overpowering. The demi glaze like sauce didn’t add much to the pork belly, which was also dry and lacked flavour, also being a cold appetiser it felt like it just came out of the fridge. The chefs clearly rushed the food, surprising really as there were 5-6 chefs and only 6 tables available or so and still we had to wait an unusually long time for ice cream that’s been brought in. The mains somewhat saved the dining experience. I had the sea bass with spicy chicory and broad bean purée and my partner the chicken thighs with roasted peppers. The seam bream was nice and flavourful, unfortunately, the ratio of chicory to the other ingredients overpowered the purée, tomato salsa and the little dusting of marjoram which was delicious with the seam bream but not enough to justify the amount of chicory. It felt like the chef was trying to just get rid of ageing stock that needed to be used up... overall average. The chicken was cooked well but nothing too special. The waiter seemed a bit arrogant as not even to ask how the food was, seemed like just because it has Gordon Ramsey’s name attached to the establishment, this somehow replaces the basics of hospitality and customers must just assume the food is Amazing. Yeah maybe an ordinary customer might not notice the small details but to a chef eating here clearly it falls behind the potential of a good dining experience.

Very friendly staff - they are happy to explain to you everything in the menu in details.

The staff were lovely. The food really was quite underwhelming. Sadly won’t return, despite lovely staff. Was all quite tasteless sadly, despite the big name.

Thoroughly enjoyable experience, excellent food and friendly staff - all a real pleasure! Sure in ‘normal’ times the ambience would be 5* too!

Great food and relaxing atmosphere. Was great to get back out after lock down enjoyed the veal starter and most amazing meringue pudding
