Had afternoon tea booked for 3 people. The restaurant had a booking for 2. We had a pot of tea then 40 minutes later the sandwiches and cakes arrived! They had added extra sandwiches on as it looked like it was for 2 people. The scones were lovely but cake selection not as discribed on the website. Just bits of different sweet items . We were charge £25 each on website it said £23 I. Was Abit disapointing

Very friendly staff and lovely afternoon tea. We weren't keen on 'The Snug' area we were put in on arrival (very dark room) but no complaints when we were seated in the bar area.

I booked a table for 4 people for an afternoon tea. They had a good selection of teas. The quality of the food is very high. We have been served salmon ham and Mediterranean sandwiches with delicious creamy cheese, scones and a number of assorted little pastries. The staff was friendly and welcoming although not really prompt. We had to ask for refreshing our tea and when we asked for new plates ans cutlery they brought new plates after a long wait and forgot most of the cutlery. On a scale from 1 to 10 we decided to give 6 to this experience. The venue is very cozy with lovely coaches and pretty golden curtains.
