Good atmosphere. Prompt service. Good food and good portion sizes. I very much liked the way the pub distinguished 'families' from 'adults'. In other words, when we dine out, the last thing we want is loud whining kids running everywhere and ruining our meal (with parents who don't seem to give a damn). The pub should be applauded for taking this initiative ('family area' separated from 'adult only' area) and others should follow suit.

The pub itself was lovely and the decor was really nice. The outside area was also nice and my kids really enjoyed it. The menu sounded so nice and I was very much looking forward to my meal but unfortunately it came out wrong and took quite a while to come out, but the staff were very good about it. Hoping to return soon. A waitress named Becky was superb at her job.

Really disappointed this time with the food the service was excellent but most of the food ordered was overdone and awful, staff were good and replaced what wasn't nice, the food is quite expensive as lunch menu wasn't available either which is what we went for, so wasn't happy that at that price the quality was very ooor, we did receive a discount. It was still not really happy as this was a birthday meal which was ruined. Won't be eating there again and so t be recommending to anyone.

We were a party of six and we had all been there previously, jointly and separately so we knew what to expect.
The food was good overall although I thought that my chicken was a bit too dry and my wife felt the reverse as she found some red deep inside.
The service was good and attentive. The apple pie desert was delicious.
The restaurant is spacious and new. The facilities are good, there is a play area for children although we had none in our party.

As it was a Friday evening it was busy. Consequently food took a bit longer to arrive than on previous occasions. A friend, who is alcohol intolerant, found it difficult to find something on the new menu - which was to their liking. 5 of us had no problem.

The service was extremely slow however the First Lady who was serving us was very pleasent. They food wasn't very good at all steaks were overdone, mixed grill was mostly chewy fatty meats. we had to wait quite a while for one of our parties meals to come out after everyone else had stated eating and that was disgusting and not edible. It was full of oil and cold and the tikka rub that was supposed to be on the chicken was just horrible clumps of spice that defidently had not been cooked with the chicken but mostly likely just thrown on afterwards. We came for my mums birthday and we were no impressed at all but any of the service or food.
