Dined with friends. Seated promptly, wine could have been colder, food was good and we all enjoyed our choices, despite the 2 hour saying rule we were not hurried along so had coffees and did lots of chatting. My friends both commented that the ladies toilets were out of paper on three separate occasions (and yes, staff were informed after the first occurrence). Having a TasteCard dramatically reduced the spend and a good time was had by all. The decor is a bit intense but comfortable and the staff very helpful.

Very good food and service. The creme brûlée was scrumptious.

Great food and attentive service. Warm, cosy atmosphere. Good value for money. Only downside was the music in the background. No need for it!

Location is perfect for theatre-land and the menu is lovely.

A pleasant ambience, excellent service and a good range of choice on the menu. The hake and sea bass were particularly good. Decent wine at reasonable prices.

Waiter entered wrong main course for me, so my Wife had to eat hers before mine was cooked. He apologised and admitted his error.

Overall experience was not great. I liked the interiors and the kind waitor. However, I was hugely disappointed by the pancakes that I had ordered for breakfast. They were tiny (would fit in my palm and my hands are quite small!) and chewy (found difficult to cut with the knife) and I could taste oil in it which was unpleasant. I was expecting the normal sized soft pancakes nothing more and I was pretty disappointed. My husband had ordered eggs benedict and he was satisfied with it. This place wasnt particularly cheap and I wont be going there again. I would rather stick to my usual Balthazars which is around Tuttons and way better!
