Food was excellent, service was excellent - we had heard it was recommended and chose it on that basis. They had Sunday lunch down to a really fine art form and were able to cope with large parties well. They were unintrusive but yet right there when you needed something. I thought it was classy and a lovely place to go out - delicious and well priced. Will go again!

Wonderful baronial dining hall. Very quiet as Monday night but great for a romantic meal for two. Lovely food and service. Took coffee afterwards in the lounge; comfy sofas and chairs. The place is full of character and a great change from the norm.

Had afternoon tea with two friends. Service was excellent, waiter very attentive (very kindly brought me whole pot of coffee to myself as I don't drink tea!). Selection of sandwiches, scones and cakes were lovely. Thoroughly enjoyable afternoon.

We were a party of six visiting Marygreen Manor for afternoon tea. Our group included three teenagers, 13, 15 and 16. We all thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon and were very impressed with the service we received from our waitress, Monica. She was friendly, attentive and efficient throughout the afternoon. My friend's niece requested fruit tea and was given a large selection to choose from. The sandwiches were lovely with tasty fillings and the cakes were irresistible. The selection of mini cakes included strawberry tarts, carrot cakes, pink iced choux fingers, chocolate fondants and scones with clotted cream and jam. Tea was plentiful and iced water was also supplied. The decor and ambiance in the hotel added to the feel of a traditional afternoon tea in a cosy, relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely go again.
