Nestled in the glorious Cotswolds countryside, The Trout at Tadpole Bridge holds an AA Rosette and showcases gourmet gastro pub cuisine. This charming 17th century Thames riverside inn celebrates the best of country living with an inviting cosy ambience filled with toasty wood burners and mismatched furnishings. A garden found to the rear makes it even more alluring.
The Trout at Tadpole Bridge menu makes the most of fresh fish and local game and features mouth watering fare like roasted quail with butternut squash risotto and smoked ham hock with Cheddar and Guinness rarebit. More substantial options include duck breast and confit leg croquette with charred polenta and Cornish hake fillet with air dried ham and fennel sauce.
For dessert choose between white chocolate pannacotta with raspberry curd, rhubarb and vanilla cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding with butterscotch sauce. The Trout at Tadpole Bridge also offers a tempting cheeseboard with a variety of British cheeses. Complement your meal with wines from around the world or a pint of local real ale.

Customer reviews for The Trout at Tadpole Bridge
(**** 19 December 2016 by Andrew from Oxford
Far too expensive for what we were given, restaurant empty on a Saturday evening must be a indication of what others think too. Absolutely no atmosphere not even background music. Will not be going again.
