Great vegetarian menu. We were left unattended for too long once we were sat at table.

My boyfriend and I went to Tredwells for a special occasion dinner. We had reserved a table and were greeted and sat immediately on our arrival, by the window. The restaurant is small but it is set out so you never feel too close to any other guests. The food was amazing and we loved everything we chose, our only complaint would have been that the main meal went cold quite quickly. For entrée we both had the lamb belly which was the best I have had in the U.K (coming from Australia which has a much higher meat quality than here). Overall it was a great night in a perfect location near Covent Garden. We particularly enjoyed the decor and vibe of Tredwells and will definitely be recommending it to our friends.

Was a nice meal but was expecting more of a wow factor. The birthday plate with truffles for my partner was a very nice touch.

Wonderful food as ever. A highlight was the pork main course.

Really lovely place for dinner - we went with friends expecting to dine on a set menu deal, but were lured away onto the a la carte by some simply stunning dishes. The chateaubriand was simply perfect, and my pineapple and coconut dessert will live long in the memory. The only slight hiccup (no pun intended) was the eyewateringly expensive wine list - the house wine turned out to be perfectly lovely, but we ended up ordering more carafes as they were very small - so we probably spent what we would have had paid for a bottle. On arrival, we were seated right next to the only other diners in the restaurant at that time (7.30 on a Friday) - it seemed particularly ridiculous, especially as the tables are VERY close together. However, the manager soon realised the error and rectified it so both groups could enjoy their meals in relative calm. It's a great space, and other than this little hiccup, was a fantastic night out - we'll be back.
