London Restaurant Festival menu was good value. Wine & drinks seriously overpriced - especially when you add the service charge

Very happy with our experience at tredwells. Chips and bernaise foam could be our staple diet forever! Really pleasant atmosphere. Recommend upstairs. Wouldn't have liked being sat downstairs given the jazz music.... Fine in the background but not right next to your table!!

All 3 of us in our party enjoyed not only the food but the ambience and were very impressed withe the service. It was very professional but also friendly...the perfect mix! The only negative comment would be that we sat near the window and as is often the case, every time the entrance door opened, you felt a bit chilly. There was always a prompt response by staff to ensure the door was closed, but the weather will be getting colder and I wonder if it would be felt more? We had the set menu for lunch and were all very satisfied with our choices. I had the Chicken Liver Mousse...generous portion and delicious, as was everyone else's.....we covered all options for the starters. The Sea Bream was beautiful as was the corn fed Chicken....try the Blue Cheese Croquettes as a side...great. Having never had Yuzu before, found the Parfait all, a wonderful and satisfying meal! Will certainly make the journey to London for a treat for lunch again!

I had the Roasted monkfish and orzo and it was delicious! My friend had the Seabass and he enjoyed it too. It's a good place to have a good chat and nice British food.
