Located in the heart of South Kensington, the Town House restaurant & bar is an all-day dining haven, accessed through its own discreet entrance on Manson Place. While away an afternoon over a delicious classic afternoon tea or sip exquisite cocktails at the adjacent K Bar.

Head chef Adi Mandokhot has created a menu to match all tastes where the emphasis is on fresh produce focusing on the seasons, balanced with its hand-picked wine list with something for everyone.

Designed by Alexander Waterworth, the interiors reflect the building's natural charm and old English Town House aesthetic, with a specially-curated library also adding to the charm. The Town House’s period rooms – consisting of 3 beautiful interconnecting spaces - of what were once individual Regency style townhouses, feature bay windows, working fireplaces, parquet floors and original art.

Launched in February 2016, K Bar is inspired by the sophisticated atmosphere of a gentlemen's club. Deep grained oak panelling lines the space which is softened by racing green and royal blue upholstery. An impressive bar front with leather panelling and a rich green marble top accompanies a polished brass back bar display and bespoke wine fridges. Bar Manager Ben Manchester, has put together a cocktail list with unique recipes created to demonstrate how food and drink go so well together.

South Kensington Tube Station is a 5-minute walk away.

As soon as we walked in to the hotel we were greeted and shown to the Dining room. It was beautiful and clean. We were met by our French waiter Paul. Who was lovely. Very friendly. Paul explained how the tea would go and left us to decide on our tea. Paul was very accommodating to ensure our table constantly looked smart and was “picture perfect” we had the most incredible time. The food was beautiful. X

The service is the highlight of the meal as the severing staff really explain well each dish
The afternoon itself it's fine but each character was so cute just like in the beauty and the beast
Myself and my friends really enjoy the experience of proper English afternoon tea and the luxury decoration in the hotel :)

Amazing afternoon tea, perfect in every way! The right atmosphere, service with a smile, thoughtful attention to every detail. Picture perfect and tasteful food, and endless tea. We particularly valued being able to take as long as we liked grazing, chatting and drinking tea!

Our Tale as old as time afternoon tea experience was definitely a five star experience from the food to the ambience and especially the service and the staff who do everything to ensure a wonderful treat. This was our second time and I would not hesitate to recommend to all.

One of my best experiences in London. We’re greeted by some very friendly staff members and the service was excellent throughout our visit. Both the drinks and the food was some of the best I have ever had. I’m a very picky eater but I ate everything expect the smoked salmon sandwiches which was substituted due to allergies. And we couldn’t eat all of the treats so we got a box to bring them back to our hotel.

I can’t recommend this enough, definitely worth the money!!!

Town House was a lovely place to meet a friend, cozy quiet and delicious, I will definitely come back again and again. The lunch options were excellent and service amazing.

We were greeted on arrival by a lovely man who was so helpful. He took us all the way through to where they were serving Afternoon Tea and introduced us to the front of house for that. He also showed us where the ladies restrooms were and could not have been more helpful and friendly. All the staff in the afternoon Tea room were lovely and they were very helpful and attentive when required.

I took my daughter and Niece (19 and 21yrs) to the stale as Old as Time afternoon tea. We all love Disney and cake and this did not disappoint.
Thomas greeted us and spent time talking to us, the rest of the staff were all friendly.

The food was delicious and we took some lovely photos.

Very nice afternoon tea. I would have had the beauty and the beast soundtrack on in the background instead of the ‘nothing’ music they had on.
    Other than that - faultless
