Located in the heart of South Kensington, the Town House restaurant & bar is an all-day dining haven, accessed through its own discreet entrance on Manson Place. While away an afternoon over a delicious classic afternoon tea or sip exquisite cocktails at the adjacent K Bar.

Head chef Adi Mandokhot has created a menu to match all tastes where the emphasis is on fresh produce focusing on the seasons, balanced with its hand-picked wine list with something for everyone.

Designed by Alexander Waterworth, the interiors reflect the building's natural charm and old English Town House aesthetic, with a specially-curated library also adding to the charm. The Town House’s period rooms – consisting of 3 beautiful interconnecting spaces - of what were once individual Regency style townhouses, feature bay windows, working fireplaces, parquet floors and original art.

Launched in February 2016, K Bar is inspired by the sophisticated atmosphere of a gentlemen's club. Deep grained oak panelling lines the space which is softened by racing green and royal blue upholstery. An impressive bar front with leather panelling and a rich green marble top accompanies a polished brass back bar display and bespoke wine fridges. Bar Manager Ben Manchester, has put together a cocktail list with unique recipes created to demonstrate how food and drink go so well together.

South Kensington Tube Station is a 5-minute walk away.

I thought the Beauty and the Beast Afternoon tea was delightful and i would recommend it to anyone. Almost every detail has been thought of. The only small thing that could have made it slightly better would be to have instrumental music from the film in the background as the music that was being played did not really fit the atmosphere of the tea.

A Tale as Old as Time afternoon tea was excellent, it was very impressive how all the members of staff knew the story and were able to point out how
each course related to a specific point in the Beauty and the Beast film. Table props to accompany the tea were an added bonus. It was my daughters birthday
and all the staff made a point of wishing her Happy Birthday, and as well as decorating her plate accordingly, they also provided her with a special cake. A most
    enjoyable afternoon.

Hi, I visited your restaurant 2 days ago for tale as old as time afternoon tea. I really like the tea time its so cute and the dessert is really nice in details. One thing I really get offended is when we are like 30 minutes late, and the staffs over there is like keep rushing us to finish everything as soon as possible, I know it’s my mistake to be late due to the rain but somehow I saw they are like rushing all the other guests in the restaurant too. And they requested to took my Mr candles and clock away during halfway of our afternoon tea and I found it’s quite annoying. I hope you guys can set a longer time frame for your guest to enjoy their afternoon tea.

Enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea with my daughter. Fantastic venue with stunning surroundings. The service was good, great description of the afternoon tea, but food and bill a little slow to come out. It would also be nice for a childs version to be available - my daughter wasn't keen on most of the sandwich fillings, and it is priced the same as the adult tea. However she very much enjoyed the character crockery and having Lumiere and Cogsworth join us was a lovely treat.

I had been trying to book this afternoon tea for over a year so we were very excited, particularly my grand-daughter, it was a birthday treat for her. Our initial welcome was very nice but we were asked to wait whilst the table was cleared and reset. We had to wait a little while and I think there was some confusion amongst the staff as to whether we had arrived but finally we were taken through to our table. Wonderful table by the window with just enough fresh air coming in given the very high temperatures we were experiencing. Initial service was good but as we moved through to the second course it seemed to take a very long time to arrive. I think the stands had been ready but by the time they came out the outer sandwich’s were a bit dry. From there it went downhill. It took time to attract a member of staff to have the teapot changed (the second cup was very bitter). At times there were no staff in the room and by the time we left I felt they couldn’t be bothered with us. They were beginning to serve what I assume was dinner and I felt we were in the way. Not a nice way for us to end an experience we had been looking forward to. We may have taken longer than normal but I do feel this was due to the delay in bringing out the second course.
