Located in the heart of South Kensington, the Town House restaurant & bar is an all-day dining haven, accessed through its own discreet entrance on Manson Place. While away an afternoon over a delicious classic afternoon tea or sip exquisite cocktails at the adjacent K Bar.

Head chef Adi Mandokhot has created a menu to match all tastes where the emphasis is on fresh produce focusing on the seasons, balanced with its hand-picked wine list with something for everyone.

Designed by Alexander Waterworth, the interiors reflect the building's natural charm and old English Town House aesthetic, with a specially-curated library also adding to the charm. The Town House’s period rooms – consisting of 3 beautiful interconnecting spaces - of what were once individual Regency style townhouses, feature bay windows, working fireplaces, parquet floors and original art.

Launched in February 2016, K Bar is inspired by the sophisticated atmosphere of a gentlemen's club. Deep grained oak panelling lines the space which is softened by racing green and royal blue upholstery. An impressive bar front with leather panelling and a rich green marble top accompanies a polished brass back bar display and bespoke wine fridges. Bar Manager Ben Manchester, has put together a cocktail list with unique recipes created to demonstrate how food and drink go so well together.

South Kensington Tube Station is a 5-minute walk away.

Excellent food and super environment. We had a corner table which worked perfectly - loved looking at all the book titles too! Service was excellent, highly attentive but not at all imposing.

We booked for the Chinese New Year celebrations with my family there. A very special theme promotion for the Afternoon Tea London Landmark.
We had a very good seating area with 4 family members, taking photos for all foods and us.
Very good services and keep smiling all times.
I fully recommended for someone with special celebrations with friends and family to go there. You can park your car in front of the hotel. It costs £4.90 per hour with maximum 4 hours by cash or by phone. The car park is very close to the hotel if you want. Or leave it to the hotel front desk they can parking for you.
Any questions you may call them. They’re very friendly to answer your questions. Good to go.
Food are delicious and we are very enjoying for the whole afternoon and had a very memorable time for my family. Thanks for the whole reception.

The Town House was gorgeously decorated, and we felt super comfortable. Upside: we loved the London Icons tea-themed cakes, etc. All delicious. Service, too, was impeccable in the first half of our visit -- we felt attended to without being over the top. Cons: the sandwiches weren't great -- a little bland, and the bread felt/tasted slightly like it had been sitting out a while, like slightly hard on the outside. Also, towards the second half of our stay, we struggled to get a waiter's attention. Nobody came to clear stuff up from the table and we had to wait a while to ask someone for the bill. It would also be nice to have more herbal tea varieties -- a berry one, perhaps.

London Landmarks Afternoon Tea - beautifully presented & impressed with the thought that had gone into the story. Food was delicious particularly the crab cake & broccoli & Stilton quiche. The staff were friendly & professional.

We attended for the London landmark afternoon tea and couldn't recommend it highly enough. It was an amazing experience from the minute we got in the door. The staff were very attentive and made us feel very special. The savoury bites to start were really tasty, as was everything that followed. Amazing experience overall.
